Manali A Beautiful Hill Station in Himachal Pardesh. Just 260 KMs from Shimla and 325 Kms from Chandigarh.

A very popular hill resort, located at an height of 1,850m approx (6,000 ft). Travelers spend days, months or some even years, because of its beautiful environment. foreigners visit on their trip to India. One cen get the bus to Leh from here.

There are many interesting spiritual places in the Kullu and Manali. It is said when Pandavas were in exile they resided in the Manali for a year.

Best times to visit Manali is from May to June and September to October. September and April the nights are chilling cold, and one has to be with lots of warm clothing. May and June is tourists season or a peak season this is when the temperatures are between 10ºC and 25ºC. And from November to March it is cold with the temperatures between 1ºC and 12ºC.

Hadimba Temple Manali
Hadimba Temple (Dhungri)
This Temple is 4-storey, Approx 25 meter high built in 1553 and is dedicated to Hadimba, wife of Bhima,  one of the Pandava brothers from the epic of Mahabharata. Hadimba is said to be an incarnation of the goddess Kali.

The temple is pagoda style with intricate carvings on the temple. A big festival at the temple is celebrated every year in May. To walk to this temple about 2 km from Manali Mall Road, it is on the road to Old Manali. It is also called the dungri area of Manali.
